Here at First Christian we have all kinds of opportunities for you to be involved in the life of the Church.

Chi - Rho 6th Grade - 8th Grade: Middle School Students are at the age where spontaneity, creativity and a total lack of inhibition come together to form a young person who is ready to explore and conquer life. Weekly lessons focus on issues that apply to this age group with a Biblical perspective so they will become all that God intends for them to be, while realizing who they are —– young teens. Chi-Rho Sunday School meets from 10:30 - 11:15am, followed by brunch and Chi Rho Youth Group from 11:45 to 12:30pm..

CYF 9th Grade - 12th Grade: High School Students have a special place in the heart of First Christian. We want them to know that they are an important part of who we are as a church. Their presence is both wanted and needed. Our studies focus on how to apply the Word of God personally and we have many programs designed to reach out to the young people. CYF Sunday School meets from 10:30 to 11:15am, ollowed by brunch and CYF Youth Group from 11:45 to 12:30pm.

Children's Sunday School Three and four year olds, and kindergarten age, meet separately in self contained classrooms on the lower level from 9:45 to 10:30am, followed at 10:30 by Cherub Choir until 10:45am.

First thru 5th graders meet at 9:45am in the Gathering Room on the lower level for gathering time and singing. From 10:00 to 10:45am they are separated according to grade level and participate in a rotation system children's education program. From 10:45 to 11:20am they may participate in a fellowship/snack time, before going to worship in Children's Church.

Children’s Church: Children’s Church is a special time of worship for children age three through the 5th grade. Our preschool and kindergarten children follow the "Godly Play" format. The elementary-age children worship with "The way of the child" model.

Children’s Christmas Program: Every year we hold a Christmas Program starring all the children of the church.

Vacation Bible School: Each summer we have a week-long program for children three years through the 5th grade held in the evenings at the church. Bible-centered lessons, games singing, creative projects are all a part of this exciting event.

Family Sunday: Once a year, all families in the church participate in the 11am Worship Service. We celebrate families!

Youth 'Coffee Talk' current events and world issues and concerns are discussed in an infomal setting each Sunday morning from 10:00 to 10:30am in the youth lounge, moderated by the Youth Director.

Youth Sunday The first Sunday in May is designated as Youth Sunday. All worship services planned and led by members of the Chi Rho and CYF.
